Elizabeth Doughty has around 20 years
experience in HR management, business partnering and consultancy,
providing support to managers across a wide spectrum of human resource disciplines. She particularly enjoys getting to know her
clients and their business so that she can provide the best possible and most
appropriate support for them.
Elizabeth works with clients to provide generalist HR services, advice and support - anything to do with employment and workforce matters that managers have concerns about or just need to chat things over - and undertaking project work. She finds that broaching and tackling concerns at an early stage can resolve issues quickly and can help to prevent problems occurring later when action may need to be taken.
Public sector HR work includes providing consultancy, HR Business Partnering, and HR management for local Government, central Government, Higher Education and the Schools sector. Work in various private sector organisations has included the provision of HR services to a property management company, care homes, a tourism organisation, a post-production broadcast facility and a call centre.
She is a Corporate Member of the CIPD and has a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management.
Outside of work, she enjoys walking and cycling (preferably remaining on the bike), skiing holidays (preferably remaining upright) and socialising with family and friends.
