The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills has produced a useful 'Guide for Employers on Zero-Hour Contracts'.
It explains to Employers how Zero-Hour Contracts work, the difference between appropriate and inappropriate use of such arrangements, and gives guidance on best practice and alternatives to Zero-Hour Contracts.
We also produced our own free report on Zero-Hour Contracts and updated it recently- available for non-clients to download on our website homepage (existing clients can just email info@thepersonneldept.co.uk for a copy).
